Rising Buddha

Encaustic painting on hexagonal masonite boards.  The fun part of encaustic is the many layers of wax and oil pigment that create the translucent and vibrant images. Sometimes delicate, the process brings me enjoyment when I successfully create the images I seek.  Hence, the Rising Buddha was a delight.
